Double the difference! Pledge before the 8th September!

Oxygen have applied to be part of the Big Give Christmas '24 Campaign. Their match funding campaigns offer a unique opportunity for you to double the difference you can make in the world for the causes close to your heart like Oxygen.  The idea is to promote giving by match funding any donations received during a campaign. People are more likely to give if they know the it will be matched by your pledge. 

How does it work?

  1. You pledge a minimum of £100 to the campaign

  2. The BIG give decide if they will match fund the amount pledged by Oxygen supporters.

  3. We launch the campaign in December to recruit donors and hopefully match your pledges.

  4. The Big Give matches the amount raised and you give your pledge to Oxygen.

What are Pledges?

  • Pledges are part of the matching pot. They count as promises of funding that can be unlocked by Oxygen through online donations raised during a campaign. Their funds could be worth up to 4x for Oxygen, so there is a great reason to ask!

  • All pledge forms must be completed by 11pm Sunday 8th September, to participate in the campaign.

  • Pledges are promises of funding that contribute to your matching pot and must be secured by 11pm Sunday 8th September.

  • Oxygen needs to secure a minimum of £1000 in pledges to be eligible for Champion funding. As long as we secure £1000 in pledges, we will still be eligible for Champion funding up to the amount of pledges we have secured.

  • Pledges must not be paid to Oxygen until after the campaign has ended - they are conditional funding which we redeem according to how we perform in the campaign.

Who can make a pledge?

  • Pledges can be made by individuals or organisations, including Trusts, Foundations, corporates/businesses, trustees and supporters.

  • The minimum individual Pledge amount is £100.

  • Pledges will be paid to Oxygen in whatever way you (the Pledger) would like (after the campaign has ended) (eg. BACS, cheque, CAF, etc.).
